NTRO Technical Assistant Written Exam Pattern
- The Exam will be Computer Based Written Objective Type.
- There will be a Separate exam for the Electronic Stream and Computer Science Stream.
- Each exam will be of 400 Marks with 100 Questions.
- The Time Duration for Each Exam will be 02 Hours.
- There will be negative Marking of 01 Marks for each wrong Answer.
Exam Syllabus : The Exam Syllabus is as follows:
General Science Current Affairs : Questions are designed to test the candidate‟s general Science of the environment around him and its application to society. Questions are also designed to test knowledge of current events and of such matters of everyday observation and experience in their scientific aspect as may be expected of an educated person. The test will also include questions relating to India’s scientific research.
Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning : The syllabus for Quantitative Aptitude includes questions on both verbal and non-verbal types. Test will include questions on analogies, similarities, differences, space visualization, problem solving, analysis, judgment, decision making, visual memory, discrimination, observation, relationship, concepts, arithmetical reasoning, verbal and figure classification, arithmetical number series etc. The test also includes questions designed to test the candidate’s abilities to deal with abstract ideas and symbols and their relationships, arithmetical computations and other analytical functions.
Concerned Subject/ Stream : This Paper will Include the Question which is related to the Stream/ Subject which the Candidates Select.
